Winners Haul

If you're familiar with the stores, Ross Dress for Less, Marshalls or TJ Maxx, than the Canadian version of those types of stores is Winners

Winners carry just about everything they can, but with a reasonable price. Everyday, they push out new products and because of it, when they have something you like, you better grab it, since chances are, it's probably the only one in the store.

I speak from experience, when I say this, I love being customer at Winners, then working there ¯\(◡‿◡) /¯

Overview of my haul.
On Thursday, I went shopping downtown, after getting my textbook from the Vancouver Library and decided to pop in, with the intention of looking for a wool hat only. However, I ended up getting more items than I anticipated.

From my haul, I got:
 Marc Jacobs Blush Perfume
 Anna Sui Foaming Moisture Wash
 Black Pom Pom Hat
 Sheep Wool Knee High Socks

The beauty products I picked up.
The item that I was most excited about was the Marc Jacobs Blush Perfume. I wanted to get it when they were selling it at Sephora, but I lost my chance to get it back then...but I'm glad I found it at a cheaper price!

The Anna Sui Foaming Wash was something I didn't intend to buy, but since my skin is sh*t these days, I figure I give it a try

Clothing products I got!
So the whole point of me going into Winners was to buy a hat,  but ironically, I'm debating if I should return it or not. It's a cute design, but when I tried it on at home, it didn't look right.

The other item I got was a pair of sheep wool knee high socks. I love them already they're super soft

A Closer View

The packaging was so cute, inside and out.
The packaging of the bottle in detail.
Backside, along with the ingredients.
FOAM :D
I tried the product out and I like it. It smells like a combination of lavender and rose tea and it goes on the skin very nicely and smoothly ♥ ♥ ♥

Smoothed out.
The foam also blended very well and it wasn't too sticky. It left my skin feeling refresh and clean.

Marc Jacobs Blush Perfume.
I was just too excited when I saw this product. I might have even said "OMG" out loud ٩(ε

Limited Edition, they weren't kidding about that!
Flowery designs all around.
Cause everyone knows closeup diagonal photos are aesthetic ( ᐛ )و
Another closeup.
The details.
With that, this concludes my Winners haul...which I realized it's the first time I posted about it on here, weird, since I buy too much things from there

Small Daiso Haul ❤

Hello everyone!

How is the summer treating you guys so far? Here in Vancouver, Canada, these days, the weather has been very sweltering and worse of all, very muggy(┳◇┳) More so, there has been numerous forest fires, so the air around me has been very smokey.

Before the weather had gotten to bad, I went to (what else?) my favourite store, Daiso, and bought some stuff with the idea of doing future DIY projects and personal reasons.

Believe it or not, I actually haven't been to Daiso for a while, so once I stepped in, I had the overwhelming feeling of buying a lot of things, but thankfully, I made my friend talk me out of not getting some things. (๑→‿←๑)

Here's some overview photos!

Let's look at what I got

1) Fake Flowers
I love pink too much.
-I picked up three pink bouquets with having the idea of making floral crowns during the summer. I have too much time on my hands and so I thought I might as well do something productive such as DIY projects for fun.

"Margarita" bouquet.
"Marguerite Bush" bouquet.
"Water Lily" bouquet.

2) False Eyelashes
-I have previously bought some eyelashes from the brown mix series before, but I didn't review them at the time, for some reason. These lashes are probably one the better ones from Daiso, in terms of comfort and design.

-From the brown mix series eyelashes, there are six different designs, I picked up two of them, number 3 and 6.

No.3 "Romantic Style" design.
No.6 "Fairy Style" design.

3) Floral Wire
-I bought the floral wire because it's going to be the base of my upcoming floral crown project. Since it's from Daiso, it's already cheaper than buying it from an arts and craft store, such as Michaels. While the wire is not long as I would like, I'm planning to tape the wires together with floral tape.

Closeup of the wire.

I'm hoping to write more blog posts during this month, but on the 17th I'm going to New York for an entire week with family, so I won't have too much time. However, I do have ideas formulated already for my next few posts.

Ootd #4: Celfie // { Face Shop Haul + P.O.V}

It's that time again, time to post my recent outfit of the day! This time, I present to you an outfit I simply call Celfie.

Awkward poses, for the win!!!
What I like about this outfit, is that it can be either worn casually or look really polished, depending on the design of overcoat or blazer that is styled with the outfit.

Let's take a closer look.

-I love this celfie tank, it's smooth and comfortable and what I like the most is that I was able to buy it when it was on sale! ٩(●˙▿˙●)۶…⋆ฺ

-I'm not a huge fan of H&M but I have to say, they have great sales! The tank top is cute, yet simple, it can match with anything, since the colour is white and basic.

-What I enjoy most about the skirt is the unique colour. I never owned any coloured skirt that was violet, so when I saw it at Forever 21, I had to get it. The skirt I picked up was small, yet I would have to say the length is pretty long, although I'm sure its due to my short height (Θ︹Θ)ს

-Another thing, is that the elastic was a bit too loose for me, However,to end on a positive note though, the material of the skirt makes it feel nice  and when you peer closer, you can see little zigzags for design.

-Also from Forever 21, was this heart necklace. The neat thing about it, it's that it can open, serving as a locket. However, the necklace can sometimes open up easily, making it an annoyance at times, and if not properly and carefully taken care of, it can dent pretty easily.

A simple difference

A variation of this outfit can be adding additional accessories such as knee high socks. For example, such as this:
Another variation for this outfit, is by also adding a cardigan sweater, with ankle boots:

Overall, this outfit is more suitable for the Fall and Spring. It can go either way of giving a casual look or appear polished and preppy.

Where can you get these items?
Blazer from: Urban Planet
Tank from: H&M
Skirt from: Forever 21
Heart Necklace from: Forever 21

 {Haul}:
 THE FACESHOP

I actually got these masks quite a while ago, most likely after spring semester, since that was probably the time my face was breaking out due to final exams.

Small haul.
The face masks that I got were:
-Aloe
-Green Tea
-Kelp
-Mung Bean

From the back of the package, all the masks are described as:
"This mask contains a serum with moisturizing and nourishing properties to leave skin soft and healthy looking."

Let's go EaT here!

I wouldn't consider myself a hardcore "foodie", but if there's one thing that I do enjoy, is that I love trying and eating at new places.

And for all your poor students in Vancouver, The Famous Warehouse, which is located downtown, is a great place to eat at, because....ALL the food they serve is only for $4.95!

While The Famous Warehouse is considered a restaurant, personally for me, I found it to be more pub-like than anything else.

A thing that I really liked about the place was that the water that was served to us, was in a beer bottle, I thought it was quite cute and appealing.

Longboards as wall decorations.
Overview of the wall decorations of The Famous Warehouse.
Besides the food, I thoroughly enjoyed the decorations of the place, it just gave off a cozy and relaxing vibe to me.

The Works Burger, and it's all deliciousness.
Since it was my first time there, my friend recommended me the "Works Burger", which was delicious! While the size of the plating appears small, it actually isn't and I was filled up by burger and fries, fairly quickly.

To get to a more personal note, I will be graduating from college in the next couple of days, which is exciting! To be honest, for the majority of the time I was in college, I lost interest and I really didn't have that much motivation to study, to be frank, I believe (and still slightly) that college isn't for me.

But, after being granted an associates, I feel happy and accomplished, and it has given me a new sense of renewed energy and I now have my sight on a couple of different certificates and hopefully a degree in the future!
