☽Sailor Moon☾ Luna (Dupe) Purse

Aiee, what's up people?

It's been awhile that I actually posted something onto this blog...I've been severely neglecting this blog, sorry about that :/ I was actually going to delay this post as I still have one other post that is still in progress, but this post is going to be short and sweet, whereas the other one is going to be long.

Anyways, today's post, is about something I ordered off Ebay, when they were having a good sale on most of their merchandise.

I placed an order on the "Sailor Moon Luna Purse" at the last week of October and it didn't ship to my house until the 3rd week of November (which is this week, actually!).

Note: This purse is faux, it is NOT the actual Samantha Vega x Sailor Moon Collaboration, so there are a few differences, but overall, the faux purse looks pretty good, just missing some details from the original.

 PACKAGING
→The package arrived in standard mail form←

→The purse was wrapped with clear bagging←

→Under the plastic bagging, the seller also wrapped the purse with a soft white mesh←

CLOSEUPS
Overview of the purse.
The outside of the purse is quite sturdy, however, there was a noticeable scuff at the left corner.

Another closeup shot.
The metal pegs on the bottom are also in good quality and very sturdy.
Opened view of the purse.
In the front, there is a thin pocket compartment. Unlike the original, there is no printed pattern/lining of Luna and Artemis that would be on the inside of the flap and purse.
The inside of the purse.
The purse has 1 zipper pocket and 2 pocket compartments, small and big. The inside material is made up of brown satin.
★★★
Some additional styling shots with the purse.

The strap of the purse was also adjustable, so you can either make it really long or short.

 THOUGHTS

Original vs Dupe?
-The ears of the original luna purse is a lot pointier, whereas the dupe one, the ears are rounded
-There is a cute Luna and Artemis pattern inside the original.
-No branded Samantha Vega logo in the dupe.
-The crescent moon is metal in the original and has "Samantha Vega ♡ Sailor Moon" engraved on it.
-The dupe has the crescent moon stitched on.

Is the Dupe purse worth it?
Pros:
Price is cheap, I got the purse for $9!!!
Sturdy purse
Almost exactly as the original
Strap is adjustable
Cute design
Cons:
There was a scuff on the purse
Missing details such as the pattern and engraving
Ears are slightly bended

Ultimately, you get what you paid for. If you're a super fan or a person of details, than I would recommend buying the original one and shelling out a few more dollars.

But I think the dupe is fine enough, it still has the overall cute design of the purse.
I rate this product:
❤❤❤♡♡

LOVE x HATE Tag

Hey guys! (*^▽^*)

I haven't been updating as frequently as I like, due to much laziness and school. Plus, I couldn't think of ideas for another post, however, I remembered I was recently tagged by Alyss for the Love x Hate tag, in which bloggers:

List 10 things you love
List 10 things you hate
 Nominate other bloggers

And since I'm sick, either from a cold or a flu, I have plenty of time to write this blog post, even though I should really be studying for my statistics class...

10 Things I Love

1) Netflix

Before I got netflix, I didn't understand all the hype around it, especially when my friends kept raving about it. However, now that I do have it...I UNDERSTAND (゚∀゚)☞. These days, if I have free time I'm binge-watching shows and movies. The show I'm currently watching right now is F.R.I.E.N.D.S. since when I was younger, I never watched it. Now that I am, I absolutely love it!

2) Shopping

Also known as retail therapy, haha. I love shopping for clothes especially, it just brightens my day! Although, I would say I'm an odd one, as I prefer shopping by myself, rather than with my friends, it takes less time and it's much easier since you don't need accomodate with others to which stores you want to go to or how long it would take.

3) The Rain

I know, I know, such an odd thing to love, but growing up in Vancouver, Canada, for all my life, the city which is infamously known as "Raincouver", I grew to like the rain. I love the smell, the feel and the sound of it, it's very clear, relaxing and smoothing. ( ◞・౪・)

4) Music

Playing music is my personal source whenever I need to escape from reality or when I feel sad or happy. My favourite genre of music are indie, folk and rock. Currently, I have been jamming (HAHA) to Vance Joy's album "Dream Your Life Away" and I'm excited that I will be seeing him live for his concert in January!!!

My favorite song from Vance Joy

5) Bralettes

Due to the fact that my instagram is mostly a fashion account, the majority of accounts that I follow are fashion instagrammers  as well and because of this, I grew to love the style of bralettes! The best place is buy some are aliexpress or amazon. ❣◕ ‿ ◕❣

6) Cats

I love cats, they're so cute, adventurous and curious creatures with a mind of their own. I was always more of cat person than a dog person...just don't tell my dog that, hahaha. Believe it or not, Vancouver is going to open their very own cat cafe soon!!!

7) Sushi

My favourite type of food easily. Whenever I hangout with friends or go on a date, sushi is always going to be my first suggestion. The type of sushi that I love the most is anything that involves tuna, but my favourite dish would probably be the chirashi don.

8) Reddit

Probably another odd thing to love, given how people on Reddit can be downright rude and nasty (let's not sugarcoat this), but, Reddit is a site that I use daily, and has been a resourceful tool for me! People on reddit are very good at giving advice and insight, as well, I like reading stories on such threads such as AskReddit or Let's Not Meet.

9) Hiking

This probably the most ironic thing that I would love, because first of all, I do not like walking at all. Secondly, I hate when the sun is on my face. Realistically, if you combine the two, you end up with hiking. Anyways, months ago, when my friend dragged me to hike with her, I found myself liking it due to the scenery, the nice exercise and exploring British Columbia.
This was my very first hike, at Minnekhada park.

10) The Feeling of Accomplishment

This is probably the best feeling in the world (•́⌄•́๑)૭✧ knowing that you worked on something for so long and hard, the feeling of accomplishment is something that you cannot get if you don`t work at it. I hope I will get this feeling in the many years to come!

10 Things I Hate

1) Being Sick

I'm sick at the moment and I hate it, I don't like the feeling of being nauseous, dizzy and unenergetic. In relation, I hate any type of medication too, especially cherry cough syrup, it tastes awful and it makes me not want to drink anymore of it.

2) Insects

Especially spiders, bees and wasps, they freak me out, most likely due to their numerous legs and eyes they have. ( ⚆ _ ⚆ )

3) Rude and Entitled People

I've worked in retail for about 2 years now, and I seen my share of rude and entitled people, and I don't understand why people feel the need to act this way. Yes, I am working in entry level job, but that does not give you the right to treat workers and other people this way.

Haha, sad, but true.
¸
4) When People Cancel on Plans the Last Minute

This one infuriates me. Seriously, if you and I made plans a week ago, honour it, do not cancel the last minute because something or someone else comes along. I have this one friend who does this, especially, if her boyfriend, becomes free, she'll go ahead and cancel our plans.

5) Smoking

I hate the smell of cigarettes and smelling of it. What's worse is the fact that somehow, second hand smoking, gets people sicker than those who actually smoke...

6) Indecisiveness

This is one huge problem for me. I'm very indecisive, whether it's a place to eat, read, etc. Right now, it's picking what I want to do in life. Sometimes I wonder if I should take a break from university and enter into trades, that way, I would have some skills, when I entered the workforce, instead of just academic studies.

7) Blushing

For me, I absolutely, hate the feeling of blushing, because I feel like everyone is staring at me and it makes me feel more embarrassed than I should be. I've been blushing ever since I was really young, so it's something that I'm still working on. The worse thing a person can do to a blusher is point out that they're blushing, like thanks...I know I am already and my cousin is the worse, he always does that to me.

8) Being unmotivated

It's not a very good feeling. You know that you want to do things and finish them, but don't have the motivation to do so. I know this feeling quite well, I had this feeling for the last few years when I was at college, I was emotionally drained from school. I do know better that, if I ever should feel this way again, I will take a break, since life is not a marathon or a race.

9) Being on Cash

Cashiering is probably a simple task once you get use to it, however, for me, while I do know, most of the system, I get very anxious and nervous whenever I'm on cash, and I hate the feeling of it. (((( ;°Д°))))

10) Getting Blamed

This is my biggest pet peeve. Do not blame me for something that I did not do. I swear if people do this to me, I get so pissed off that I don't want to deal or talk to them anymore and yes, I had a friend do this to me, to the point, that I really wanted to sock her at one point.

Nominations

I haven't been keeping track of the blogs I've been following so I apologize if you have already been nominated or already done this post.

July Favourites

(/•ิ_•ิ)/ I'm confused, how is it already the month of August?! Seriously, time, or this year in general, has been passing by so quickly, that it's a bit confusing and frightening at the same time. (•ิ_•ิ)

Anyways, what's up, people? Have any plans before school starts up again? I'm going to be working almost everyday and volunteering before I head back to school in the fall. I'm also hoping to score another volunteer opportunity, before settling back into the school life.

I haven't done a "Favourites" post for a while, so why not make my first post in August about my favorites for July? ୧། ☉ ౪ ☉ །୨

1. Shop Gracie Usa Brianna Knit Crop Top
-I'm not a huge fan of crop tops, although this year, I've been experimenting with them and it's been fun. I got this cute knit top from an online store called Shop Gracie Usa.What I like about the crop top is that it's very comfortable and can fit any body size. The store itself, has a variety of cute clothing and they have numerous sales as well. Haha, I wish that they provided free shipping outside of the USA though!

  Brainna Knit Crop Top
(For those who are interested in the top)

2. #GIRLBOSS Book
-This is one of favorite books up to date. Back in May, when I just started taking a break from school and I had no job, I was feeling a bit down since I didn't know what I want to do for my career. My friend recommended me this book in which it chronicles the life of Sophia Amoruso, the owner of Nasty Gal, and how she ended up homeless to becoming a rich and successful business women in a span of few years. So, this book gave me inspiration and hope, that everyone will eventually find their path in life.

3. The Face Shop Pomegranate Cleansing Cream
-If you guys might think you've seen this cleansing cream before it's because it was actually part of a my previous beauty haul post, way back. I know, I know, it took me months to finally use it, and now I love using this cleansing cream when I wash my face. The scent is light and pleasant and my skin feels very refreshed afterwards. ヾ(≧∇≦*)ゝ

4. YSL Forever Light Creator CC Cream in Apricot
-The YSL Colour Corrector Cream is something I use whenever I feel like putting foundation on. Unlike previous CC creams, BB creams or foundation, this one is very light and not heavy at all! The cream also blends very well with my skintone and the coverage is great too. However, the price is expensive, and I remember I only bought this as a splurge before I left my previous job as a gift to myself.

5. Funko Pop! Ron Weasley
-To be honest, I still don't know if this brand is called Pop! Funko or Funko Pop! figurines...(o゜ー゜o)?? Anyways, I wasn't even into collecting these until I bought a Ted 2 figurine. So when the Harry Potter series came out, I knew I had to buy my favorite character from there, Ron Weasley. Isn't he so cute? Do you guys collect any? If so, which ones do you have?

That's it for my favourites for the month of July, I hoped you enjoyed it. I'm also not too sure when I will next update my blog, so let's say I'm aiming to post one more in the month of August and then we'll see how school plays of factor when September comes.

[Review]: Daiso Brown Mix False Eyelashes in No.3 Romantic Style

What up, my people?

Can you believe July is over?! This means summer break is going to be done in a month! It's crazy how time flies! But then again, my break started way back in May since I didn't take any classes for this summer semester.

As weird as it sounds, I'm ready to go back to school and take some classes! I've had so much time on my hands these days, that going back to classes will be refreshing.

I finally have good news, I'm going to be even more busy because I found a job, and I'm going to start in a few days. ( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧

Since I don't how much time I will have for blogging in the future, I decided to go ahead and review the brown mix false eyelashes in no. 3 romantic style, from Daiso, as I've shown from my previous post.

{Closeups}

Out of the package.

{About}

From the Daiso eyelashes that I buy, the Brown Mix series is my favorite. The series has six different types of false lashes.

Unlike the lashes that I had tried and bought  previously, from Daiso, the brown mix series lashes are softer and the lash band is clear and a lot more bendable.

Today from the series, I`m going to be reviewing, the No. 3 Romantic Style one.

The romantic style lashes are the only ones from the series that have more, thicker, fuller and dense lashes towards the end of the eyelashes. Whereas other lash styles had the lashes spread out evenly, the romantic style lashes do not, as the appeal is to make the lashes more alluring.

In comparison from the other lashes from the same series, this one, surprisingly, the lash fibers were really soft. The band was also a lot more flexible than some of other ones in the series.

HOWEVER...

Due to the density and weight of the lashes on the end, the corner of the false eyelashes curled up. This resulted in the application taking a bit longer and the over all look appearing quite weird. ಠ╭╮ಠ

{My hair is messy, hope you don't mind!}

Look at how much length is added, when worn.
-I really like how long my lashes look, seeing how the lashes lengthen my real ones quite a bit.
My lashes are fuller...only at the end though.
-The lashes do give a fuller look, but only towards the end of the lashes. They are more suited for giving off the alluring or exotic look, instead of the dolly or doe-like appearance, I prefer instead.

★{Overall Thoughts}★

The packaging was adorable and girly, sadly, it's what made me drew to the lashes itself.
❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ♡
The application was a bit more difficult compared to other lashes from the series, given how the ends would curl up.
❤ ❤ ♡ ♡ ♡
The comfort of the lashes was good, the band wasn't a hard plastic and the lash fibers were really soft.
❤ ❤ ❤ ♡ ♡
The quality is much better in comparison of other Daiso lashes.
❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ♡
The price is great!
❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
The overall rating for these lashes would be:
❤ ❤ ❤

I would say this though, from the Brown Mix series, the "romantic style" ones have to be my least favourite. I would recommend trying the lashes from the series, but I would get a different style only because I found the other styles more cutesy and appealing.

There's also the fact that these lashes are the first to ever curl up for me, so that's a minus. Also, if you're looking for lashes that gives you both length and fuller lashes, you might want to skip these ones!

Again, to end of on a positive note, these lashes are the softest ones from the series and the most flexible. They are probably one of the more unique ones as well.

Thanks for reading (and the 10k views!), ɾ⚈▿⚈ɹ

Small Daiso Haul ❤

Hello everyone!

How is the summer treating you guys so far? Here in Vancouver, Canada, these days, the weather has been very sweltering and worse of all, very muggy(┳◇┳) More so, there has been numerous forest fires, so the air around me has been very smokey.

Before the weather had gotten to bad, I went to (what else?) my favourite store, Daiso, and bought some stuff with the idea of doing future DIY projects and personal reasons.

Believe it or not, I actually haven't been to Daiso for a while, so once I stepped in, I had the overwhelming feeling of buying a lot of things, but thankfully, I made my friend talk me out of not getting some things. (๑→‿←๑)

Here's some overview photos!

Let's look at what I got

1) Fake Flowers
I love pink too much.
-I picked up three pink bouquets with having the idea of making floral crowns during the summer. I have too much time on my hands and so I thought I might as well do something productive such as DIY projects for fun.

"Margarita" bouquet.
"Marguerite Bush" bouquet.
"Water Lily" bouquet.

2) False Eyelashes
-I have previously bought some eyelashes from the brown mix series before, but I didn't review them at the time, for some reason. These lashes are probably one the better ones from Daiso, in terms of comfort and design.

-From the brown mix series eyelashes, there are six different designs, I picked up two of them, number 3 and 6.

No.3 "Romantic Style" design.
No.6 "Fairy Style" design.

3) Floral Wire
-I bought the floral wire because it's going to be the base of my upcoming floral crown project. Since it's from Daiso, it's already cheaper than buying it from an arts and craft store, such as Michaels. While the wire is not long as I would like, I'm planning to tape the wires together with floral tape.

Closeup of the wire.

I'm hoping to write more blog posts during this month, but on the 17th I'm going to New York for an entire week with family, so I won't have too much time. However, I do have ideas formulated already for my next few posts.
